Thank you for your supporting our clean water and sanitation project. I wanted to give you a progress update.
Through your effort, we have so far raised $6,539 out of the $22,000 goal. We still need to raise $1,105 to meet the drilling costs. But we’re getting closer.
The remaining steps remaining for the water project and their costs are below:
Activity steps | Cost | Status |
Hydro-geological survey | $546 | Done |
Drilling | $7,644 | Pending |
Solar pump installation | $5,460 | Not started |
Tank and its accessories + Pipework | $10,920 | Not started |
We feel hopeful for making more progress in bringing clean, safe water to these children.
Uganda is battling with the second wave of the COVID 19 pandemic, which has forced the Ministry of Health and the President to call for the second lockdown of schools, churches, public gatherings inter-district travels, among others are on a ban.
Unfortunately, this has come at the wrong time because it is the dry season where water is scarce. Due to this situation, the vulnerable children in our care need to help fetch water from a distant place where they mix with other community members and lives at risk of contracting the virus.

Once more, we thank you for your endless support of our project to give safe water.
Please consider sharing this project with others.
